Events

The Brasso Seco TAC has been hosting an annual Indigenous Cook- Out each October since 2002.  This is a nationally known event that people flock to in order to taste our amazing foods, soak in our beautiful surroundings, and here some local folk tunes and Parang!

The Visitor Facility also hosts many community events such as Sport’s Days or functions such as a retirement dinner or other celebrations.  These events are always great community bonding times and are enjoyable for all ages.

Upcoming Events:

Turtle Watching – March – August 2012

It is never too early to plan so mark your calendars for the upcoming turtle season which starts in March 2012.  We will be carrying groups to camp on the Paria Bay Beach and watch the majestic Leatherback Turtles as they labour to make their nest and lay their eggs.  The season runs from March – August and is a fabulous opportunity to be part of our new turtle tagging project.  Give us a call or send us an email to book your trip now!
